Kickback Kitchen is about proper, tasty food prepared right in the community, where everyone chips in what they can.

Dinner is sorted once a week, giving busy households a night off. Meals are cooked each in under-used community kitchens using quality ingredients and a focus on flavour. Once you’re signed up, you’re part of Kickback Kitchen for as long as you want to be. 

Getting Started Is Simple. 

Signing up takes just a few minutes. Once registered, meals are collected from a chosen collection point each week and enjoyed at home. Afterwards, a link is shared so that everyone can chip in what they can. Some contribute a little more, some a little less. Together, those contributions keep the kitchen cooking and help make sure everyone eats well.

Meat, vegetarian and vegan options are always available.

Each week, one meal features on the menu, from rich spaghetti bolognese to hearty curries and other crowd-pleasing favourites. All meals are clearly labelled, and if any information needs to be checked, a member of the team gets in touch.

Meals are collected each week from the chosen location. All that is needed is a bag. Team members hold Level 2 and Level 3 Food Hygiene certificates, and all partner venues are registered food businesses with Milton Keynes City Council.
At home, you simply heat, eat and Kickback. Later that evening, a text message is sent with a link so that everyone can chip in what they can.

If a collection cannot be made one week, the team is notified the night before to help avoid unnecessary food waste.
